- User Data (via OAuth): Google ID, email, username, role, access & refresh tokens, token expiry, OAuth scopes, token type, internal user ID, created date.
- Channel Data: User ID, channel ID, title, subscribers, active status.
- Video Data: User ID, video ID, title, description, published date, thumbnail URL, comments count, processing status, created date.
- Comments Data: Video ID, comment ID, author name, text, published date, judol flag status.
2. How We Collect Data
- Through OAuth2 authorization when users connect their YouTube accounts.
- From user input: when a user submits a YouTube video link to analyze comments.
3. Why We Collect Data
We use this data solely to:
- Help users detect, manage, and optionally remove or report "judol" (provocative or misleading) comments on their YouTube videos.
- Enable automatic comment deletion/hiding on videos owned by the user.
- Enable reporting of comments as spam on videos not owned by the user.
4. Data Storage & Retention
- All user data is securely stored in a MongoDB database.
- Data remains stored until the user actively deletes their account using the Delete Account feature.
- After deletion, related data is permanently removed from our system.
5. Who Can Access Your Data
- Only the CodeNova Team (three members) and the user themselves.
- We do not sell, share, or publish user data to any external party.
7. Your Data Rights
- You can delete your account and all related data anytime without contacting us manually, through the Delete Account feature.
- You may also contact us for questions about your data.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect user data. However, users are responsible for safeguarding their own Google account credentials.
9. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Substantial changes will be communicated appropriately. Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
